I always stay at this place when I come to York. During my first visit, staff helped me with money knowledge. It suits me well, with cots and no pets/smoking. Everything I need is here. I'm coming back for my vacation. No regrets!

The warm welcome on arrival was really nice and made us feel at home right away. the property's central location was a huge plus, as it made it super easy for us to explore the city and reach all the main attractions. the house had a lot of history and charm, with its wonky floors and quirky features, which added to the overall experience.
The noise at night was a major issue. the windows in the bedrooms were old and not well-insulated, so we could hear all the noise from the street, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

As a tourist visiting this beautiful property, I was greeted by a kind and welcoming gentleman who handed over the keys. I was delighted to find a cute hamper waiting for me, complete with a bottle of wine, biscuits, and all the basics for breakfast the next morning. the property itself is absolutely stunning, with so much character that the pictures don't do it justice. Every room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. the superior floors offered a view to the Cathedral, adding to the charm of the location. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay in this lovely city.
I felt absolutely spoilt during my stay here. No complaints whatsoever.

My recent stay at Belfrey House in York was incredible. The house had a charming character with its quirky and wonky floors, making it feel like a true Harry Potter house. The secluded yard at the back added to the homely atmosphere. The location was unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from the famous Minster, making it easy to find. Despite the cold weather, the heating in the house worked perfectly, keeping us warm and cozy throughout our stay. The large, clean towels provided for each of us were a nice touch. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay here again.
